Internship schedule

Django à Montmartre will take place from May 16 to May 18, 2025. inclusive.

Classes will be held in the Saint Jean de Montmartre parish halls on rue Andre Antoine, just down the stairs from rue des Abbesses.

Classes run daily from 09:00 to 12:30 and from 14:00 to 16:00. Lunch is included and will be taken at the traditional “Bouillon-de-Pigalle”.

After your lessons, from 16:00 to 19:00, you will form groups. All three classrooms will be available for those who wish to use them, but we also invite you to take over the public space in Montmartre so that passers-by can also enjoy your musical passion. The weather is generally fine in May, and the little Place des Abbesses among other places, is ideal for occupying a bench and making music!

Also, at 16:00  (17:00 on Friday), Philippe BAUDOIN will take you on an organized tour of the “Montmartre of Django, Stéphane and the Jazz of the era”. These tours are limited to 10 people in groups 1, 2 and 3. You’ll participate as part of a group, either on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, depending on your designated group.

In the evening, a jam session (at least one) with a master of ceremonies will be organized in a typical Montmartre café. You’ll be able to share the progress you’ve made in your work, join fellow students or teachers on stage, or simply encourage your friends.

Evening meals and drinks are not included in the subscription!

Our classrooms are just down these stairs on the left.

Montmartre offers a variety of dining options, and you’re free to join the jam(s) afterwards.

As for our friends from the provinces and abroad, we shall help you to find the best solution for your budget. Your accommodation is not included in the course price!

Check our “Where to stay” page.

Last but not least. You’ll be with us to learn, improve and share your passion for music! You’ll make new friends and/or future business contacts. All this in a healthy and caring environment! We will not tolerate any form of ridicule or ostracism. Remember, you’ll be an active part of the success of the workshop for all participants, whatever their level of musical practice, and whatever yours!

Django a Montmartre must be a CELEBRATION!

Here's how YOUR internship will work:
