Django à Montmartre change de structure. C’est désormais l’association « Jazz Montmartre » qui est porteuse du projet!
D.J.Martin: "Directeur Artistique"
L’association « Jazz Montmartre » est à l’écoute des artistes Montmartrois! Daniel John Martin, qui est à l’origine de l’évènement « Django à Montmartre est Montmartrois depuis une petite dizaine d’années, Il est également directeur artistique de « Swing sur les Abbesses » et maitre de cérémonie des séances hebdomadaires de « la nouvelle jam selon le Saint Jean » qui se déroule au 23 de la rue des Abbesses tous les jeudis.
DJM a enregistré avec Didier Lockwood et le Onztet de violons jazz – Patrick Saussois (live in London) – Romane (deux albums de compositions personelles) – « Double Cream avec Gilles Réa – Mayo Hubert (Parisian Impromptu) – aux cotés de Robben Ford (Pardon my french) … and et d’autres… Il a tourné avec Patrick Saussois, Romane, Boulou et Elios Férré, Angelo Debarre, Didier Lockwood (onztet)… et plein d’autres artistes

This year we welcome our new president: Marc De Mauny. We met Marc when he attended DAM as a student last year.
From 1998 to 2000, Marc de Mauny was arts officer at the British Council in Saint Petersburg. In this capacity, he was responsible for the arts programme of the 300th-anniversary celebrations of the Grand Embassy of Peter the Great.
In 1998, de Mauny founded the Saint Petersburg International Early Music Festival, together with violinist Andrei Reshetin as artistic director. De Mauny left the festival in 2007 to join Raiffeisenbank in Moscow as head of public relations in charge of sponsorship policy and philanthropy.
He returned to the arts sector in 2010 as director of development at the Mikhailovsky Theatre in Saint Petersburg. In 2011, de Mauny was appointed general manager of the Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre, located in Perm, working with artistic director Teodor Currentzis – and executive producer of the International Diaghilev Festival, a position he held until returning to France in 2015. From Paris, he managed the international touring activity of MusicAeterna, and residencies at the festivals of Aix-en-Provence, Salzburg and Ruhrtriennale.
In 2019, de Mauny set up a production company, Pont Neuf, Performing Fine Arts, which fosters creative collaborations between visual and performing artists. From 2020 to 2022, he was general director of the Festival Ravel in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, which he established together with Jean-François Heisser and Bertrand Chamayou.

CONTINUO Jazz, Le Souffle Libre De La Création
En 2016, Flavien PIERSON, passionné de jazz, fonde CONTINUO Jazz.
Depuis, le label a produit des artistes majeurs : Line Kruse et son Big Band, Pierrick Pedron, Ninine Garcia (avec la participation de Thomas Dutronc), Khalil Chahine, Les frères Ferré, Xavier Richardeau, Daniel John Martin avec Romane puis avec Robben Ford et d’autres figures marquantes de la scène jazz contemporaine.
Secrétaire Général
Ami de la bande historique de Jazz Montmartre et compagnon fidèle des cafés matinaux de la rue des Abbesses, Jacques s’est révélé être un véritable passionné des arts et des lettres. Lorsqu’il ne savoure pas ses petits plats truffés, il se penche avec rigueur sur les livres de comptes de l’association, au service de Django à Montmartre et du Swing sur les Abbesses.
